Charity Concert in aid of the Severn Area Rescue Association

Saturday's concert will headline El Pony Pisador an up and coming group hailing from Barcelona, Spain.

This young band have been causing a stir on the circuit for all the right reasons.  Their folk fusion extends to blending traditional music, tarantellas and havaneres, with songs of the sea.  More unusually they fuse Tuvan throat singing and yodelling with other songs making for a unique music experience.  Described as 'truly outstanding' we are very pleased to welcome them to Gloucester.

Ably supporting them will be The Exmouth Shanty Men, from Devon who bring to life shanties and sea songs in their carefully choreographed performances by wearing period costume and the clever use of props.  You could practically be there aboard the ship as they evoke the life of sailor Jack.

Please note that disabled access is restricted to the venue.  The concert will be held at the Fountain Inn, Westgate Street, Gloucester and will run from 6pm until 8.30pm.
